Rowena was an honour student and talented singer, the fifth child of a fruit seller. She had big dreams. She wanted to lift her family out of poverty. Her family and friends described her as kind and selfless, the type of daughter any parent would be proud of.
And yet.
One day she went to her university to sort out her graduation requirements. That was the last time her mother saw her alive.
Her body was found later, hands bound, a piece of cardboard hanging around her neck with a warning and a lie: "Don't emulate. Pusher."
Rowena's innocence failed to protect her from the bullets of the vigilantes. She would never sing and dream and light up her family's life again.
She was just 22.
